From 2006 until 2019 the last weekend in August has been given over to celebrating the village's Islamic, Jewish and Christian cultures that have left their mark and legacy in the town.

The Feria begins with the election of the village queen and king, a gala to celebrate the new prize winners and at midnight a firework display to officially start the festivities. Thursday afternoon is the traditional romería through the village and later to the river bed - to eat, drink and make merry.
